2011 Texas Rangers American League Championship Ring. Twice the Rangers worked the St. Louis Cardinals down to a single strike from the World Championship, but as Yogi Berra so eloquently stated, "It ain't over 'til it's over." And so the team that had proven itself to be the best in the American League for two consecutive seasons was forced to settle for the runner-up prize, such as that which we present here. This is the "B version" of the ring, presented to the Rangers bat boy.
The gorgeously crafted white gold design features a logo "T" built of rubies on the face on a diamond-studded baseball, with "Texas Rangers" applied above semicircles of rubies and sapphires. Still more diamonds divide the words "American League" from "Champions" at top and bottom. Left shank identifies the owner by surname above a diamond-studded baseball emblazoned with another logo "T" crafted in ruby. Right shank reports "Texas" above an outline of the state filled with rubies and sapphires, with the logo of the American League atop. Two stars made of single diamonds here represent the franchise's back to back pennants.
